Head coach Tim Santoro talks to the team during an injury time out. The Wolfpack was strong on offense with 29 shots in 110 minutes of play, but was not able to capitalize coming away with a 1-1 draw against East Carolina on Thursday, August 23 in Dail Soccer Stadium.
The NC State women’s soccer team will not be competing this fall, according to a statement released on the team’s Twitter.
According to the statement, the decision to not play this fall is due to a depleted roster both because of injuries and not all members of the roster returning to Raleigh this semester.
The team will still continue to train, focusing on 2021 and spring competition if that becomes an option, according to the statement.
