The second of what could be eight former NC State football players drafted into the NFL this year went early in the third round Friday night, as the New York Giants took defensive tackle B.J. Hill with the 69th overall pick.
Hill, a four-year starter for the Wolfpack, piled up 183 career tackles and eight sacks in his career, with 55 and two, respectively in his senior season.
Hill follows defensive end Bradley Chubb, who was drafted fifth overall by the Broncos in the first round Thursday night into the NFL, with as many as six more players expected to follow.
