Student Media to host student government debate

Student Senate President Mitchell Moravec announced the resignation of former member Mikey Ibrahim from the Poole College of Management. The resignation was approved on Wed Feb 7 at the regular weekly senate meeting in the Senate Chambers.

Student Media, including Technician, Nubian Message and WKNC, are set to host the Student Government debate of student body president and vice president candidates.

Students are encouraged to submit questions via direct message on Technician’s Facebook and Twitter.

The event will be recorded live by WKNC and streamed via Facebook by Technician’s social media team for those unable to attend in person.

Where: Talley Student Union 4140, Student Governance Chamber

When: Tuesday, Feb. 20,* 6:30 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m.
