As the university continues to prepare for Hurricane Florence, student centers and other buildings that serve students on campus are announcing their rescheduled hours of operation.
As of 5 p.m. Wednesday, Hurricane Florence has weakened to a Category 3 storm with sustained wind speed decreasing to 120 mph. However, fluctuations in the storm’s strength are expected as it travels closer to the coast on Thursday.
NC State remains under Condition 2 of the UNC System Adverse Weather Policy until Sunday at 5 p.m., however some areas will be open to students on campus.
STUDENT CENTERS
Talley Student Union:
Sept. 13: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sept. 14: CLOSED
Sept. 15: CLOSED
Sept. 16: 9 a.m. to noon
Witherspoon Student Center:
Sept. 13 to Sept. 16: CLOSED
Normal operations of Talley Student Union and Witherspoon Student Center are expected to resume Sept. 17 at 7 a.m.
NC STATE WELLNESS AND RECREATION
Carmichael Gym:
Sept. 13: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept. 14: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Sept. 15: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sept. 16: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Carmichael Recreation Center:
Sept. 13: CLOSED
Sept. 14: CLOSED
Sept. 15: CLOSED
Sept. 16: 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Campus dining hall hours will also be altered slightly. Students staying on campus can find these hours of operation on the NC State Dining website.
