NC State announced through Wolf Alert Tuesday evening that the University will operate under Condition 2 of the UNC adverse weather policy meaning that all non-mandatory operations are suspended until further notice.
Winter Storm Inga hit the Raleigh area starting around 8 a.m. with light snow flurries and accumulation beginning around 11 a.m. Three to six inches of snowfall is predicted throughout the day today as temperatures are expected to drop into the 20s as the day goes along.
Along with classes and regular university functions cancellations, Wolfline buses have also been suspended. Employees and students are encouraged to park in parking decks so university staff can remove snow and ice from open lots.

NC State will announce an updated status and schedule by 6 p.m. this evening.
