When the noon deadline passed today to submit applications for the top leadership positions with N.C. State Student Media, no one applied for both the Technician and Windhover publications. 

Although there were nine applicants for the seven different subsections of Student Media, none were for the editor positions with the Technician, the University’s daily newspaper, or the Windhover, the University’s literary and arts magazine.

As a result, the applications for both positions has been extended until February 23 at noon.

Despite the lack of applications, the sixth annual Student Media Candidate Forum will still take place tonight at 7 p.m. in 339 Riddick Hall. The forum will provide an opportunity for the public to pose questions to each of the nine candidates for the other positions within Student Media.
