Opening to the public Oct. 30, the North Carolina Museum of Art is preparing to host a special exhibit of works by artist Rembrandt.
The collection, borrowed from private owners and museums from across the nation, will make its first stop in Raleigh. It will leave town Jan. 22, 2012 and head to Cleveland, Ohio before making its final stop in Minneapolis, Minn . in June.
The exhibition has been in the works for more than five years, according to a press release.
A total of 30 paintings will be on display in the East Building’s special exhibition gallery.
The exhibit costs $18 for adults and tickets have been on sale since Sept. 15.
