Monday the FBI announced that it successfully used a mysterious technique to hack into the iPhone of a gunman involved in a mass shooting in California. This ended in a lawsuit between the Obama administration and Apple, Inc. for access to the iPhone. The court filing in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California did not provide details as to how the FBI did it or who showed it how. The FBI is reviewing the information on the iPhone, according to a statement from the Justice Department. In a statement, Apple said the government’s demand was wrong and that it will continue to increase the security of its products while providing some help to the government.
