Local farmers’ markets are reopening in the area for spring this weekend. On Saturday, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Chatham Mills Farmers Market, the Cary Downtown Farmers’ Market and the Durham Farmers’ Market will be open for visitors. Next to locally produced greens and cheeses, these markets will feature live music and cooking demos. The farmers’ market season will continue until April with more markets opening in the area, such as the Carrboro Farmers Market and the Raleigh Downtown Farmers’ Market.
