Today is Pi Day, which celebrates the mathematical constant representative of the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The number is celebrated today because it rounds it 3.14, which is the numerical representation of March 14. To celebrate, the electrical and computer engineering department is hosting an event on the Oval Lawn from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring Pi trivia games, a pie-eating contest and corn hole.
