Moral Monday leader the Rev. William Barber was removed from an American Airlines flight Friday after he responded to a comment from another passenger. Apparently, the passenger who made the comments toward Barber said that he had a problem with Barber’s purchasing two airline seats for himself. Barber’s derogatory retort made crew members call the police. Moral Monday is a social awareness movement where political leaders in North Carolina try to raise support for a variety of social injustices, including voting rights, environmental causes and public education.
