Monday and Tuesday, a colloquium will be held to teach about the challenges present in research behind intelligence. The event, titled “Secrecy and Intelligence: Opening the Black Box,” will take place Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Talley Student Union, room 4280 and Tuesday at the same time in Hunt Library, Duke Energy Rooms C and D. Intelligence practitioners from the United States and abroad will discuss how they analyze intelligence and how it relates to national security. As part of the event, there will be an evening lecture from Hugh P. Gusterson on Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the Talley Student Union Coastal Ballroom.
