Celia Hodent, who has a Ph.D. in psychology, will speak at 4 p.m. today in the auditorium in the West Wing of D.H. Hill about how Epic Games works to improve users’ experience. Hodent is the director of user experience for Epic Games, a Cary-based company responsible for the “Gears of War” franchise. After the talk, Hodent will conduct a workshop in which attendees will play and analyze video games using a user experience framework. Registration is required for the workshop.
