Nate Livings, junior right tackle (6-foot-5, 295)
Livings will replace Rodney Reed, a consistent presence at theright tackle slot.
Last season, Livings started 10 games at left guard as asophomore.
Ben Wilkerson, senior center (6-foot-4, 300)
Wilkerson is on the national preseason watch list for theRimington Award given to the top center in the nation. Last year hewas a finalist for the same award.
In addition, the Hemphill, Texas native was a 2003 Second-teamAll-American as voted on by the Associated Press and the SportingNews. He was voted a 2003 All-SEC performer by the AP andESPN.com.
Andrew Whitworth, junior left tackle (6-foot-7, 325)
Whitworth is on both the Lombardi Award (top lineman/linebacker)and Outland Award (top lineman) preseason watch lists.
Last year, Whitworth started all 14 games and lead all LSUpalyers in snaps played.
As a freshman, Whitworth was selected to the 2002 First-teamAll-American team by the Sporting News and the Football WritersAssociation. He was also picked for the 2002 All-SEC freshman teamby the SEC coaches and the Sporting News.
Will Arnold, redshirt freshman (6-foot-4, 315)
Replacing All-American Stephen Peterman at right guard will beredshirt freshman Will Arnold.
Arnold was rated as the No. 9 offensive line prospect byrivals.com in the 2003 signing class. He played football atCentreville High School in Centreville, Miss.
Rudy Niswanger, junior left guard (6-foot-5, 293)
Rounding out the starting line will be left guard RudyNiswanger, a junior, who saw substantial playing time last seasonwhen Livings was injured midway through the year.
A member of the 2002 and 2003 SEC Academic Honor Rolls,Niswanger started four games at left guard last year.
As a redshirt freshman, he played nine games as variouspositions on the line.
