Sesame Place San Diego presents the Elmo balloon, to advertise the new exhibit opening, in the Holiday Bowl Parade in San Diego on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2021. The Holiday Bowl was to host the game of NC State versus UCLA in Petco Park later that night. Due to COVID-19 protocols, UCLA withdrew from the game which resulted in a cancellation.
