Students march down Cates Avenue on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. Organized by members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, the march was held in support of diversity, equity and inclusion. “When they strip DEI from our education, they are telling us that diversity does not matter, that equity is optional and inclusion is negotiable. But we know better,” said Nayah McKenzie, a third-year studying criminology and one of the march organizers.
