Protesters stand in front of the Memorial Belltower before peacefully marching down towards Downtown Raleigh on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the NC State Memorial Belltower. The protesters marched down Hillsborough street to the capitol building, then the governors mansion, before finally returning back the the Belltower before the start of the citywide curfew. The mayor of Raleigh had issued a citywide curfew until further notice after the unrest caused by the riots over the weekend. The curfew is in effect from 8 P.M. till 5 A.M. the next morning. The protest on June 1 was completely peaceful through its entirety.
