Piper Broad from Garner High School sets down a candle onto the lawn of the capitol building in downtown Raleigh during a ceremony hosted during the Students March on the Capitol on Tuesday. The candles represent each of the lives taken in the recent school shooting in Parkland Florida. The protest called for regulation of gun ownership and preventative measures such that a tragedy of this kind never happens again.
