The Wolfpack lost 7-5 to Coastal Carolina in the final game of the Raleigh Regional of the NCAA Men’s Baseball Championship at Doak Field on Monday, June 6, 2016. The game was delayed twice due to heavy rain and suspended in the ninth inning with the bases loaded Monday night. The game resumed Tuesday afternoon where the Chanticleers rallied to beat the Wolfpack by two runs. The loss ends the Wolfpack’s chances of a berth in the Super Regionals and closes out their season.
