Grade: B-
While the team was a slight disappointment throughout the fall, a pair of individual wins from Albin Choi cemented his place as one of the best golfers in program history. Choi started the semester with a win at the Tar Heel Invitational and ended it with a November victory in Hawaii at the Warrior Wave Princeville Intercollegiate; his record of six career titles is the second most in school history behind Matt Hill, who won 10 times at N.C. State.
That final tournament on the islands nearly 5,000 miles from Raleigh was the high point in a traditionally brief first part of the college golf schedule. State claimed second place in that event and received an encouraging performance from former All-American Mitch Sutton (T-5). The low point of the semester was clearly at the Rod Myers Invitational where State crashed and burned its way to a last place finish over in Durham.
The Wolfpack will add South Carolina transfer Logan Harrell for the spring, which will help add depth to the lineup.
