State had the highest tournament jump after coming back from ninth place to finish the tournament in third. The late burst by the team has come at the perfect time, as the Pack heads into regionals. After the third-place finish, the Pack has a good chance to re-enter the NCAA’s top 25.
James and Marchand have been the anchors of the Pack team throughout the entire season. Both players are averaging 73 strokes per round through eight tournaments. In those eight tournaments, James and Marchand have placed in the top 10 among all players two and three times respectively, and both players have been among the top 20 five times.
The Pack will make its newfound momentum into the NCAA Regional tournament on May 8. The location of the tournament will be announced April 29.
