A family-owned and run business. This is the sole location which not only delivers, but hopes to establish the store as a hangout for students as well.

At a slightly lower price, students looking to stretch their dollars as far as they can should take note.
Taste:
Basing off the standard of cookies, the chocolate chip, the cookies at Get Baked are slightly more chewy than Insomnia. They are balled tighter and have a warm, doughy center.

Variety:
Offering all the classics, Get Baked also boasts a Heath Bar crunch and lemon cookie. They also mix up old favorites and will add macadamias and coconut flakes to chocolate chips. 3
Gluten:
One the owners being a celiac, Get Baked offers gluten-free cookies to accommodate all diets. They come in chocolate chip and ginger.
Beyond Cookies:
Offering not only desserts, but smoothies made fresh in blenders. Get baked offers many smoothies ranging from chocolate to green tea. 4

A friendly family staff greets you and is very excited for the business that they provide. Get Baked looks to become a part of the NC State community. 5

Insomnia Cookies
Starting in a dorm room in 2003, Insomnia has since expanded to more than 50 locations in the eastern United States.
Price:
$1.35 (small cookie)
The price for a small cookie is higher, but Insomnia also offers a large deluxe cookie, priced at $2.75.
Taste:
Again, using the classic chocolate chip for comparison, Insomnia bakes a cookie that is consistently chewy throughout. They do not skimp on ingredients and load chocolate into every bite. Insomnia also keeps all cookies in a “warmer” to keep them at proper temperature. 4
Variety:
Offering all of the usual, as well, Insomnia also mixes it up with a deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup cookie. A special cookie on the menu is the s’mores cookie. 4
Gluten:
Insomnia does not offer a gluten-free option, but who eats cookies for their health?
Beyond Cookies:
In addition to the cookies, Insomnia offers brownies and ice cream. Customers are invited to get creative and create custom ice cream sandwiches with cookies. 4
