Dorothea Dix Park and the Art to Heart Trail at the North Carolina Museum of Art are other great local places to spend outside.

There are an abundant amount of free and affordable museum experiences available at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the North Carolina History Museum and the Marbles Kids Museum.
