Police Chief Cassandra Deck-Brown announced that the Raleigh Police Department will hold four “Face to Face” meetings with community members to give them an opportunity to sit down with Raleigh police officers and open a dialogue about policing in the city. In a press release, Deck-Brown said, “The Face to Face meetings will give everyone a chance to have a conversation about ways the community and the police can work together to build an even stronger relationship. The meeting series is an essential piece that’s being added to our community involvement efforts.” The events will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be held Dec. 2 at the North Raleigh Hilton on 3415 Wake Forest Road, Dec. 7 at the Hilton Garden Inn Crabtree on 3912 Arrow Drive, Dec. 15 at the Raleigh Convention Center on 500 S. Salisbury St. and Jan. 5 at the McKimmon Center on 1101 Gorman St.
