Tyreece Jiles, a senior cornerback at UNC Chapel-Hill, was arrested at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning and charged with simple assault after he was involved in an incident outside the Mirage Nightclub in downtown Raleigh, according to Raleigh Police records. UNC-CH announced Sunday afternoon that Jiles, a reserve who has played eight games this season, has been indefinitely suspended from the team for violating the team’s conduct rules.
