City staff will meet with local restaurant owners, food truck owners, the Downtown Raleigh Alliance and Shop Local Raleigh to draft a trial program that would allow food trucks to park and serve food on some public streets after a ruling by Raleigh’s Law and Public Safety Committee on Tuesday. The meetings will involve outlining options for launching a pilot program to be presented at the committee’s Nov. 10 meeting. The City Council will have the opportunity to review the committee’s recommendation at its meeting on Nov. 17.
