PNC Arena may receive a facelift to make cosmetic and functional improvements, according to Centennial Authority Executive Director Jeff Merritt. The arena is owned by Centennial Authority and operated by Gale Force Sports and Entertainment. Monday the arena’s Centennial Authority Board met with architects to discuss plans for the renovation, which include additions to the North and South sides of the 16-year-old building. The East and West sides will undergo mostly cosmetic changes. The Centennial Authority Board has described this as a multi-million dollar project, but there is no official cost estimate at this time. The design team will develop a concrete if this plan is approved.
