Headlines that matterMellor earns NCAA spotRedshirt junior swimmer Stephen Mellor has secured a spot in the NCAA Championships, which start March 27 in Federal Way, Wash. He will be the No. 19 seed in the 200-yard backstroke. Mellor will also take part in the 200-yard individual medley at the national competition.
ACC honors CampanaRedshirt sophomore softball player Lindsay Campana was named the ACC Pitcher of the Week on Monday. Campana threw two complete-game shutouts against Boston College this past weekend. On Saturday, the righty allowed just three hits and walked none for an 8-0 N.C. State victory. On Sunday she gave up just six hits and zero walks en route to a 1-0 win for the Wolfpack.
