Headlines that MatterDavies 13th at NCAAsJunior Kristin Davies placed 13th in the women’s NCAA swimming and diving championships in Columbus, Ohio, this past weekend.
Davies scored a 243.20 in the platform finals, qualifying her for an honorable All-American mention. Davies is the first Wolfpack women’s diver since Molly Culberson in 2005 to make a trip to the NCAA Championships.
Tigers take series 2-1The baseball team went 1-2 in its series against Clemson over the weekend in Clemson, S.C. The Wolfpack won 5-4 Friday night, but it lost 3-2 on Saturday and 2-0 on Sunday.
Pack takes out EaglesThe women’s tennis team defeated Boston College 4-3 in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Saturday. State went 2-1 in doubles play and clinched the match with a win by sophomore Catherine Grotz at No. 5 singles.
