Sen. Hillary Clinton was projected to win the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary Tuesday Night.
In a speech after officials announced results, she said she would continue on to the primaries in Indiana and North Carolina on May 6, along with several other states after that date.
“Some people counted me out and said to drop out, but the American people don’t quit and they deserve a president who doesn’t quit either,” Clinton said in her speech.
During her speech, Clinton also commended Senator Obama and his supporters.
“We are in many ways all on this journey together, creating an America that embraces every last one of us,” she said.
Clinton discussed several issues that she planned to resolve if she were to become president, including cutting college tuition costs, improving the public school system, providing quality, affordable health care and making a commitment to science and research.
