Technician a source of bias
Please, Technician, stop trying to slander the names of candidates whom you deem unacceptable for election.
Repeatedly this year, you have published articles so biased against our student body president that I wonder if it is possible for him to get a fair chance in his run for re-election. Now, by using information likely fed to you by the incumbent candidate for student senate president, you are attempting to bias the entire student body against a very worthy and deserving candidate, Mike Alston.
It has always been common knowledge among Senate members that Alex Warren is Mike Alston’s roommate. Warren being Alston’s roommate does not preclude him from carrying out the duties of elections commissioner. Unless you want to appoint commissioners who have never stepped foot on N.C. State’s campus, you will be hard pressed to find a student who has never come into contact with one of the candidates running for election.
The way you make it sound, anyone who has ever spoken to a candidate could possibly be biased for or against the candidate. You would much better serve our student body if you would simply report the facts in your articles and stop trying to decide who is worthy of positive media and whom you will defame. Please quit attempting to bias the entire student body based on the opinions of a few students trying (with miserable failure) to play political pundit. I am very sure that our student body is more than capable of evaluating candidates without your slanted influence being hurled at them from every direction.
