Headlines that matterMen’s basketball to host Florida StateThe men’s basketball team (15-12, 4-9) will look to snap a five game losing streak in ACC play as it hosts Florida State (16-12, 5-8) tonight at 7 p.m. in the RBC Center.In its first meeting against the Seminoles, the Wolfpack picked up its only road ACC win of the season, clinching a 69-66 victory despite trailing in the last minute of play. Boyd awarded Clarendon AwardSenior Jennifer Boyd of the women’s cross country team was awarded the Clarendon Award from the University of Oxford, which is given to international graduate students based on academic standing and is funded by the Oxford University Press.Boyd, who received her B.S. in biomedical engineering in May with a 4.0 GPA, will use the award towards earning her doctorate of philosophy in orthopedic engineering at Wadham College within the University of Oxford.Source: N.C.
