Athletic Department announces ’25 for 25′ campaign25 years after Jim Valvano led the Wolfpack to the 1983 national title, the N.C. State Athletic Department announced a plan to raise $25,000 for the V Foundation for Cancer Research. The campaign is selling special game programs along with a limited edition Jim Valvano bobblehead doll for $25. The campaign begins at tonight’s game against Virginia Tech and will conclude at the next home game, against Clemson on Feb. 16. There will be a 1983 team reunion on the court at halftime of the Clemson game.
