Smith named Player of the WeekSoftball player Shanna Smith was named the ACC Player of the Week on Monday. The senior shortstop recorded five hits, including two homeruns, against Central Florida on Friday in a 10-6 N.C. State victory. In five games this weekend, Smith totalled nine runs, nine hits, two homeruns, seven RBI and two stolen bases.
