The Students and Campus Affairs Committee met as part of the first day of Board of Trustees meeting, giving updates on progress this year and listening to presentations from various parts of campus.
As part of the meetings, Randy Lait, business officer for University Dining, spoke on planned dining hall hour increases and future food service sites on Centennial Campus.
Lait said the plans for Centennial should be released within the next few weeks.
“They will be increasing on March 10 to be open until 8:30 p.m.,” he said.
Carol Schroeder, director of University Career Services, also spoke at the meeting. She detailed the job Career Services does for the student body and outlined the needs for extra space, noting that many peer institutions have career centers much bigger than N.C. State’s.
Student Body President Bobby Mills, as part of his opening remarks, mentioned the success of Campout for tickets to the UNC men’s basketball games and said he will be conducting a meeting in the next two weeks to prepare for future campouts.
