Women’s basketball releases schedule
The women’s basketball team released its 2008-2009 schedule Tuesday. The schedule features three in-season tournaments, including the N.C. State Tournament, which the team will host to open the season with Charlotte, Southern California, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. The non-conference schedule should provide plenty of challenges for the Pack, though they will get home court advantage against Florida, Ole Miss, Georgetown, and South Carolina.The team opens its ACC season with a trip to Chapel Hill to take on the rival Tar Heels on Jan. 11.
