Follow the rules, LangleyWill Langley, you are an idiot, and I am ashamed to claim the same department as you.
The fact that you chose to violate so many election policies, hoping to be elected, shows a lack of character and an above-the-rules attitude. Your platform shows you will say anything to be elected, and even a person with only twice your intelligence could tell how bad NCSU would become if implemented.
After reading Page One yesterday, it’s obvious you think you are above the system. Will — no one is above the system, and rules exist to make it fair and just. The reason Quick “[pulls] out the rulebook” is because of people like you who break those rules by sending mass emails, hang T-shirts, etc. Others can’t compete, so they pull out the book to even the field. Oh — and promising benefits to Ms. Seale is quid pro quo corruption of the worst kind. Your attempted bribe shows your fear of disqualification.
Your platform would encourage underage drinking by making the Hike a street party, getting kegs at tailgating and changing the clubs/bar policies. I understand students want to drink, but again, rules exist for good reason.
And no towing? Again, you just don’t want the parking laws to apply to you.
You said Student Government sucks because of the many complaints, but they were made because of your violations. SG is only as good as its lowest common denominator, so I surely hope you’re not allowed into office.

Ranking speaks well of UniversityIt is great that NCSU was named second in the nation’s most valued colleges. But it would be a lot nicer if NCSU can keep its promises to students to keep tuition affordable; it rises at a whopping high amount almost every single year because others can’t properly manage the University’s money.
The Free Expression Tunnel area is currently an eyesore that hurts our campus’ reputation. There is something wrong if the construction deadline is constantly pushed back. Students are paying for the construction through increased tuition and fees! UNC has better value added services for the money than NCSU.

Joy Johnson right on targetJoy is right that our generation must take a stand against sexism and sexist attitudes. It seems like every year the problem gradually gets worse and the “boys will be boys” attitude prevails. Just look at what happened with the Duke lacrosse team and their attitudes toward women (which were not only sexist, but blatantly racist).
By the way, those boys should be severely punished for their grossly appalling behavior. There must be a lot of other college students who share their perverted attitudes on sex and gender roles, but to a lesser degree. Students should take a mandatory course on diversity and treating others with respect.
