Sara Yasin’s op-ed on the Danish cartoons controversy sets the bar for all future editorials. It addresses an important social and political situation on the global and personal level, yet does so with sharp insights and a sense of humor. While I’m no expert on the world Muslim community, I have a feeling that her voice is representative of the majority, and the media still has a long way to go in spreading that message. Once again, great editorial by Sara Yasin.

I just read [Daniel’s] piece in the paper entitled “Crush Militant Islam.” I just want to say that I think you have hit the nail right on the head, and I for one, agree with you. I imagine you may hear from people who disagree, but please remember that most of us who do agree may simply not express that. Keep spreading that message or those of us who want to live in a civilized and humane world may find it very difficult, if not impossible, to do so. Great article.
