11/06/0612:10 a.m. Traffic Stop Dan Allen DriveA student was issued a citation for speeding. 12:44 a.m. Utility Problem Dan Allen Drive/ Thurman DriveA water main broke and water was coming up from the brick by the bus stop. Facilities was notified and responded.
1:31 a.m. Fire Alarm Marye Anne Fox Building Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to a balloon on the ceiling.
2:35 a.m. Assist Other Agency Off Campus RPD reported that a student was a victim of an armed robbery that occurred on Horne St. earlier in the evening. The student was not injured, but her purse was taken. Her purse was later located by an unknown student and turned in.
8:41 a.m. Fire Alarm Broughton Hall Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to a malfunction.
10:05 a.m. Assist Other Agency Avent Ferry/ Varsity Drive Units assisted RPD with a traffic accident. Two subjects were transported to Rex Hospital. 11:42 a.m. Medical Assist Student Health Units responded to the area in reference to a subject in need of medical attention. The call was canceled when the subject in question was determined to be OK.
1:34 p.m. Breaking/ Entering Larceny Winston Hall There was a report of computer equipment taken from the area. 1:35 p.m. Field Interview D.H. Hill Bus Stop An officer spoke with a non student who has a history of panhandling on Hillsborough Street. All was OK.
3:57 p.m. Larceny Metcalf Residence Hall There was a report of a bicycle taken from the area. 4:33 p.m. Medical Assist Gardner Hall Units responded to the area in reference to an unconscious subject in the area. The student was conscious upon officers’ arrival, and refused treatment. 5:16 p.m. Larceny D.H. Hill Library There was a report of a laptop computer taken from the area.
7:00 p.m. Public Forum Talley Student Center A public forum was held at the Talley Student Center as part of the NCSU Re-accreditation Process.
8:10 p.m. Suspicious Person Carmichael GymnasiumThere was a report of a non student loitering by the tennis courts. Officers were unable to locate the subject. The subject was trespassed in 2005. Officers are checking the status of the Trespass.
8:31 p.m. Traffic Stop Dan Allen Drive/ Thurman Drive A student was issued a citation for failure to stop while a traffic light was red.
10:16 p.m. Medical Assist Avent Ferry Complex A student reported she was having an allergic reaction to food. EMS transported the student to Rex Hospital. 10:32 p.m. Larceny Alexander Residence Hall A student reported that his bicycle was taken from the area. 11:00 p.m. Assist Other Agency Bell Tower Units responded to the area in reference to a male subject threatening people. Units arrived on scene and determined that the subject was not on NCSU property. RPD was notified. 11:36 p.m. Sexual Assault Sullivan Residence Hall A student reported that she was sexually assaulted on 10/30 while on campus.
11/07/0612:07 a.m. Damage to Property Park Shops An officer located a table and eight chairs that were damaged in the area. 12:11 a.m. Fire Alarm Tucker Hall Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to cooking. 7:27 a.m. Medical Assist Lee Hall Units responded to the area in reference to a student who passed out in the shower. She refused transport by EMS.
9:35 a.m. Suspicious Person Weaver Labs There was a report of a suspicious male subject in the area. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject.
2:32 p.m. Suspicious Person D.H. Hill Library There was a report of a suspicious subject sleeping in the library. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject..
3:03 p.m. Assist Other Agency Avent Ferry Complex State Capital Police conducted a traffic stop in the area.
6:25 p.m. Fire Alarm Centennial Utility Plant Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. All was OK.
9:28 p.m. Traffic Accident Dan Allen Deck Units responded to the area in reference to a student who drove his vehicle into a concrete pole. The student was also in possession of marijuana.
11:05 p.m. Larceny Sigma Kappa A student reported that the sign was taken from the front lawn.
