Speakers to prepare campus
A series of speakers who deal with HIV professionally on a daily basis will be coming to campus Monday through Thursday.
These speakers will address AIDS issues, ranging from HIV-specific laws to religious aid to how HIV medications work.
According to Jesse Howington, a senior in environmental sciences and chapter leader of Student Global AIDS campaign, it is also a Scholars Forum Event and a First Year College Forum event.
“It will be informative and interesting, especially for those interested in law and political science as well as social work,” Howington said.
Carolyn McAllister from the Duke Legal AIDS Legal Project will be on campus Monday in 216 Mann at 7 p.m.
A complete list of speakers and times can be found on Facebook.com under the event Worlds AIDS Week Speakers.
