10/12/0612:56 a.m. Field Interview Main Campus Officers located a vehicle at the end of Main Campus Drive. Two students were located inside the vehicle talking. They agreed to leave the area.
1:15 a.m. Suspicious Person Free Expression Tunnel A nonstudent was located jumping over the barrier at the Free Expression Tunnel. She was asked to leave NCSU property and did so without incident. 1:45 a.m. Fire Alarm Wolf Village Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm.
4:11 a.m. Breaking and Entering/Vehicle Wood Residence Hall Officers responded to the area in reference to a vehicle that was broken into. Upon arrival officers discovered a second vehicle that was broken into. CCBI responded and processed both vehicles. 8:21 a.m. Traffic Accident Fountain Dining HallOfficers responded to a traffic accident involving two vehicles. 8:31 a.m. Assault Talley Student Center A staff member was trespassed for assaulting his supervisor.
9:05 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle Pi Kappa Alpha Officers responded to the area in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the area looking at houses. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. 9:07 a.m. Fire Alarm Dorothy & Roy Park Alumni CenterUnits responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to contractors working in the area.
10:30 a.m. Larceny Varsity Drive Lot There was a report of a vehicle taken from the area. The vehicle was later located.
10:52 a.m. Larceny North Residence Hall There was a report of a bicycle taken from the area. 11:04 a.m. Medical Assist Student Health CenterUnits responded to the area in reference to a subject experiencing stomach pains. The student was transported to Rex Hospital.
12:56 p.m. Larceny E.S. King Village There was a report of a bike taken from the area. 12:58 p.m. Welfare Check Avent Ferry Complex Units attempted to locate a student upon her mother’s request. 5:13 p.m. Suspicious Incident Wood Residence Hall There was a report of broken glass near a vehicle. Officers checked the vehicle and everything was OK. 7:00 p.m. Skate/ Bike Violation Brickyard There was a report of several skateboarders in the area. Officers spoke with the subjects and advised them of University policy. The subjects left the area.
7:09 p.m. Skate/ Bike Violation Williams Hall A subject was observed performing tricks in the area. The subject was advised of University policy and left the area. 8:50 p.m. Suspicious Person Tompkins Hall A nonstudent was located by BUDD Security and appeared to be acting suspicious. Officers spoke with the subject who agreed to leave the area.
10/13/0612:55 a.m. Field Interview Withers Hall Officers responded to the area in reference to a suspicious person. Officers spoke with three nonstudents who were with a sub contractor. No action was taken.
1:40 a.m. Fire Alarm Scott Hall Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to a low battery.
2:33 a.m. Field Interview Dorothy & Roy Park Alumni CenterA nonstudent was located sleeping in her vehicle. She stated that she left home due to family issues and needed to think. She left the area. 7:39 a.m. Suspicious Person Wildlife Resource Deck Units responded to the area in reference to two suspicious male subjects. Officers were unable to locate anyone.
11:03 a.m. Odor Complaint Partners II There was a report of a suspicious odor in the area. Units responded, all was OK.
3:57 p.m. Larceny Bostian Hall A student reported that her wallet was taken from the area. 4:02 p.m. Larceny Caldwell Hall There was a report of a drill taken from Caldwell Hall. 7:52 p.m. Assist Other Agency Capability Drive / Varsity DriveOfficers assisted RPD with a traffic stop.
9:25 p.m. Suspicious Person Murphy Football Center Units responded to the area in reference to four suspicious male subjects. The subjects were with the Athletics Department.
10:34 p.m. Breaking/ Entering Larceny College of Veterinary MedicineA nonstudent reported that his vehicle was broken into while parked in the area. 10:49 p.m. Suspicious Vehicle Joyner Visitor Center Units located a student sitting in his vehicle behind the Visitor Center. He stated that he was waiting for a friend.
10/14/06 4:32 a.m. Assist Other Agency Carroll Residence Hall Units assisted RPD in attempting to locate a student. The student may have witnessed an assault that occurred off campus.
5:42 a.m. Missing Person Metcalf Residence Hall A nonstudent reported that she could not locate her son who was visiting campus. Upon officers’ arrival the subject had located her son.
6:10 a.m. Special Event Carter Finley Stadium NCSU PD, RPD and WCSO worked the NCSU vs Wake Forest Football game. There were 6 ejections, 42 judicial referrals, and 4 trespasses.
10:34 a.m. Suspicious Person D.H. Hill Library A nonstudent was arrested and charged with 2nd degree trespass and issued an additional trespass warning.
1:14 p.m. Fire Alarm Wolf Village Apartments Units responded to the area in reference to a fire alarm. The activation was due to cooking.
4:18 p.m. Traffic Accident Hillsborough Street/ Watauga Club DriveThere was a report of a traffic accident involving two nonstudents. There were no injuries reported.
8:06 p.m. Assist Other Agency D.H. Hill Library There was a report of a subject who was possibly trespassed in the area. Officers located the subject who was a student. All was OK.
11:02 p.m. Suspicious Person Avent Ferry Complex An officer located a student in the computer lab. The student was trespassed from other computer labs on campus for violating policies. He was not in violation of any policy; no action was taken. 11:25 p.m. Suspicious Person Bragaw Residence Hall Units checked the area in reference to a report of four male subjects who were possibly intoxicated. Units were unable to locate anyone. 10/15/0612:36 a.m. Breaking/ Entering Larceny Carter Finley Stadium A nonstudent reported that her purse was taken from her vehicle while parked in the area. 3:10 a.m. Suspicious Person Fraternity Court Units located a nonstudent walking around the outside of Phi Kaapa Tau House. He had no justification for being in the area. He was trespassed.
9:30 a.m. Check Person North Residence Hall There was a report of a subject attempting to saw a bicycle lock off. Units arrived and located a nonstudent who was attempting to saw the lock off his daughter’s bicycle.
10:05 a.m. Driver’s License/ Registration Checkpoint Varsity Drive Officers conducted a driver’s license checkpoint.
10:15 a.m. Traffic Violation Varsity Drive A nonstudent was issued a citation for fictitious tags and failure to register his vehicle. 10:37 a.m. Traffic Violation Varsity DriveA nonstudent was issued a citation for driving without a driver’s license. 11:41 a.m. Suspicious Person Hillsborough Street/ Watauga Club Drive A nonstudent was located loitering around the bus stop but was not on NCSU property. He was warned not to come on University property. He was previously trespassed.
3:33 p.m. Larceny Carter Finley Stadium A temporary light tower placed in the area was taken. 5:00 p.m. Breaking and Entering/ Vehicle Larceny Carter Finley Stadium A nonstudent reported that her vehicle was broken into and items were taken while parked in the area. 6:18 p.m. Breaking and Entering/ Vehicle Larceny Carter Finley Stadium A nonstudent reported that her vehicle was broken into while parked in the area.
7:41 p.m. Larceny Avent Ferry Complex A student reported that his bike was taken from the area. 8:44 p.m. Larceny Fountain Dining HallA student reported that her dorm key was taken before break.
11:50 p.m. Breaking and Entering/ Vehicle Larceny Carter Finley Stadium A nonstudent reported that his vehicle was broken into while parked in the area.
10/16/061:13 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle Materials ManagementOfficers located a suspicious vehicle near the Central Stores Warehouse. A nonstudent was checking the dumpster for discarded items. He complied to leave the area.
