Wind Ensemble to perform at Stewart Theatre

Music at N.C. State will present the Wind Ensemble’s Concert Band Invitational today at 7 p.m. at the Stewart Theatre in Talley Student Center.

This invitational will feature students from Athens Drive High School in Raleigh and Emsley A. Laney High School in Wilmington as well as the wind ensemble. The ensemble is directed by Paul Garcia, who will be conducting a workshop with one of the high schools before the performance.

“We are well prepared for tonight’s performance,” Tyler Wolf, a clarinet player in the ensemble and freshman in biological sciences, said. “Hopefully this invitational will be beneficial to the high schoolers and encourage them to participate in band after high school.”
