Defense giving up yards, not pointsposted 4:59 p.m.

State’s defense has allowed Florida State to drive across the 50-yard line four times, but so far the Seminoles have come away with a mere 10 points in the first half.

Some of the credit belongs to N.C. State’s defense for making stops, but a lot of the credit belongs to FSU kicker Gary Cismesia for missing two field goals, one of them a 23-yard attempt.

The Pack needs to take advantage by getting on the board again before the half so it can have the momentum and the ball at the start of the second half.
