Simmons traded to CavsFormer N.C. State basketball player Cedric Simmons was traded Saturday. The New Orleans Hornets drafted Simmons with the 15th pick in the 2006 draft. The Hornets traded Simmons to the Cleveland Cavaliers for guard David Wesley.Simmons averaged 2.9 points and 2.5 rebounds for New Orleans, playing in 43 games last season. In his final season with the Wolfpack, Simmons averaged 11.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Simmons was second in the ACC with 80 blocked shots in his sophomore campaign.-Brian Grossman
