Habitat for Humanity founders to speak on campusBrian LewisMillard and Linda Fuller, the founders of Habitat for Humanity, will speak Monday at 7 p.m. in Stewart Theatre in the Talley Student Center.
The Fullers are the 2007 honorees of the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics and Public Service’s Role Model Leaders’ Forum. According to the CSLEPS Web site, this forum is an annual event that honors a leader who has done outstanding work for the community, nation or world.
The Fullers founded Habitat for Humanity in 1976. In 1996 Millard was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor.
Tickets are free for students and faculty and $5 for the general public; they are available in Room 3115 of the Talley Student Center.
