Registration for UNC basketball tickets begins Tuesday.
Registration for the annual campout for tickets to the men’s basketball game against the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill begins Jan. 16 at noon and runs through Jan. 22.
According to Matt Haggard, the campout organizer, last year’s event attracted more than 4,000 students. He said he hopes to have similar numbers this year; however the Wolfpack’s 0-3 record in the ACC may lead to a lower turnout.
“The ticket campout really drums up support for the team and shows how many people have spirit for the team,” Haggard said. “That Friday night is one of the highlights of the school year.”
The campout will take place on Jan. 26 in the front of Reynolds Coliseum in the wooded area between the Free Expression Tunnel and the Reynolds tunnel.
According to Haggard, the location where students can register for the campout has yet to be determined.
