What the band’s name means:

The name, Lower3rds, came from Adeniyi’s view of the college culture. There are three groups in college.

The upper thirds: This group consists of the well-to-do kids or the kids with status. The middle thirds: This group consists of the kids who are influenced by either the upper or lower thirds.The lower thirds: This group consists of the kids who speak what they know and know what they speak. They are grounded and socially aware.
