Important games…
Monday, Feb. 5Florida State @ N.C. State, 7 p.m.This could undoubtedly be the biggest game of the year for the Wolfpack in more ways than one. Aside from the obvious indications it could have on State’s postseason dreams with the Seminoles (16-5, 5-1) currently in third place in the ACC, it will also probably be coach Kay Yow’s first shot at winning her 700th career game, pending State wins against conference dweller Wake Forest (9-12, 0-7) tonight.
Sunday, Feb. 11N.C. State @ Georgia Tech, 4 p.m.With the Wolfpack scratching to finish in the top half of the conference, an away game against the Yellow Jackets (13-8, 4-3), who are currently tied with State for fifth in the conference, will certainly give State an opportunity to make a statement and dictate their postseason situation.
Friday, Feb. 16North Carolina @ N.C. State, 7 p.m.After losing 86-65 in Chapel Hill in the first meeting between these two, and with the Tar Heels still undefeated this season, you can bet that this rematch of rivals will be a game you don’t want to miss. Junior forward Khadijah Whittington said of the game, “We will be ready for them. We are ready for them.”
