In the page-eight article “State to host No. 1 Duke,” Senior Staff Writer Langdon Morris misspelled Duke center Alison Bales’ name.

Campus Police incorrectly reported a blotter entry that was printed in Wednesday’s edition. It was Pi Kappa Alpha, not Pi Kappa Phi, that officers responded to in reference to a party.

In Thursday’s article “GEP forum elicits faculty opinions,” Assisant News Editor Maggie Luckadoo misquoted First Year Inquiry Director Maxine Atkinson. She paraphrased Atkinson, writing “[Atkinson] did think it would be feasible to require the Inquiry courses due to long training programs for faculty teaching them and a lack of those interested in doing so.” Atkinson actually said she did not think it would be feasible to require the Inquiry courses.
