Behind The VeilTalley Student Center Walnut Room, 6:00-7:00 P.M.
Participants in this experiment will wear a hijab, or head scarf, all day to find out how those women who chose to wear the scarf are treated differently. The program will allow participants to share their experiences from the day, and will also feature a panel of speakers.

Pack-A-Thon’s 24 Dance MarathonCarmichael Gymnasium 7:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.
A 24-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping marathon where students, faculty and Raleigh citizens stay on their feet to symbolize their support for the children and families of the North Carolina Children’s Hospital. All proceeds from the event go to the NC Children’s Hospital.
